There is lifetime washable air filter. There are 3 energy savings settings including an Eco Setting that will heat smaller areas to 68 degrees using only 500 watts. The heater is surrounded by our stylish wood cabinet with a black front that is cool to the touch. E Z Glide casters make moving the heater from room to room easy. This amazing heater also includes a new larger remote control to operate the Digital Thermostat allowing you ultimate control. Dual Timer settings can be used to turn on or off the unit up to 12 Hours ahead.

Decent quality infrared heater I bought two of these LifeSmart heaters last year, one 1000W, one 1500W. We rent two rooms in a house, and our ‘neighbors’ have two similar heaters of a different brand on their side of the house. I’ve also owned at one time or another many other types of portable heaters, including oil heaters, radiant quartz, and heat dishes. Additionally, all places I’ve lived in (including this one) have had either central gas or fixed electric heating.

falsely advertised product I decided on this particular heater over others because it advertises the heater as 6500 BTUs and a five year warranty. When it arrived and I was looking at the box I noticed that it was only 5100 BTUs and has a 3 year year warranty. I thought they had sent me the wrong one but when I compared the model number it was the correct model number. I contacted the company that sent me the heater and they just said that that was the information the Lifesmart company provided them with. To me, that is…
